The basic thing that you should remember is the number that the clay chips are representing. Never be afraid. This math is not at all a rocket science. The major options are 300 chips, 500 chips and the least in the family – 200 chips. There are also chips that are representing 750 and 1000 chips which are also intended for more than eight players. Thus the number that you select will be based on your gaming requirements, whether you are playing for a large or a small group.

The numbers depend on the players that you will choose to play with. When there is a game of three or four players, 400 to 500 will be the most ideal number for a set of chips. If the players extend to six then 500 to 650 chips will be better. When there are eight players there are less than 1000 chips on the requirement. If there are eight players and there are only 400 to 500 chips on the table then it will not suffice the game to take its fullest form. On the other hand too many chips will be a waste as when the players are less no extra chips are required.
