The show down is the final stage in the game of poker and it is in the show down that the winner of the pot is decided. Once all the betting rounds are over the remaining players are challenged with a show down where their hands are compared and the player with the highest hand wins the lot of chips staked over the poker tables. If there is only one player in the final round and all other players have folded their cards then there wouldn’t be a show down and the player can have the pot without a show down.
